2025-26 PROGRAMMING: WE HAVE NEVER BEEN POWERLESS
Using art as a force for change, Bleur has carved a curatorial niche in engaged art - art that advocates for social and environmental justice. Its 2025/26 programme, ‘We Have Never Been Powerless’, brings together voices from London and beyond, with a curated collective of established and emerging galleries, traditional and digital artists and curators under one roof in its new location.
The season features Bleur’s signature immersive exhibitions, including the UK debut of Indian artist Rhea Gupte and other collaborations to be publicly announced. Highlights include a collaboration for Frieze Week with Harlesden High Street and New York curator Emmanuel Massillon, followed in October by an exhibition of new works by artist Mattia Guarnera. Further events connect with London’s POC and artist-led initiatives, closing with an end-of-year exhibition merging art, printmaking and memorabilia.
The programme launches London’s first hybrid gallery and curatorial programme, positioning art as a lived experience of the many. Over the past year, Bleur has aimed to bridge the gap between traditional and digital practices, with the site set to host panel talks and conversations on one of the most controversial debates in contemporary art.
As part of the proposition, Bleur is welcoming Parisian gallery DANAE in collaboration with research-focused Blueshift Gallery for a show at the end of November, presenting pop-ups with London’s decentralised gallery ArtSect, and expanding a digital strand inviting curators to explore the intersection of society and technology. This includes a second iteration of an exhibition series by Diane Drubay and Ana Aguirre, who are bringing together international artists, reclaimed materials, and sustainable practices and shaping a low-impact model for exhibiting environmental digital art.
