EXHIBITION: ELEGANCE IN REFUSAL

Elegance in refusal. Refusal of established norms. Refusal in the boldness of a brushstroke, the sharpness of a single pencil line. Refusal in the edges of a garment, in the simplicity of a design. Refusal in the negative space, in the clean lines, in the quiet resistance.

Elegance in Refusal is an art exhibition and fashion space documenting artists drawing London Fashion Week from the atelier to the gallery. Co-curated by Bleur Gallery and fashion artist Joanna Layla, the exhibition presents an exciting curation of the best of contemporary London fashion artists and a large-scale collection of live drawings as the 2025 LFW catwalks unveil the new collections.

Exhibiting Gallery Artists are Helen Bullock, Anjelica Roselyn, Jess Rose Bird, Robson Stannard, Poppy Waddilove, Joanna Layla, Elyse Blackshaw, Connie Lim, Dahren Davey and Beth Fraser.
